Diagnosis
"Whatever happen now, he mustn't know,
I know my husband much too well for this.
Just say it was benign, or didn't show...
I do not care, just give the truth a miss.
We often talked; if one of us should go,
Of who was best to start in life again...
The bluster and the breeze was all a show..
If he was told, I know that he'd give in.
I'll only have him now a little while;
But who's to say, the doctors can be wrong...
My life is in remission with him now,
Remission that will last a whole life long.
And when they wonder why I'd not give in,
I know that this is something done for him."
